With errands to run, work to be done, and dinner to make, there’s not always time to plan an appointment and no one can plan on getting sick. When you need to be seen for a minor illness or need a vaccination, stop in at one of our Walk-In Clinics where no appointment is needed.
Flu vaccination, TB testing, Strep testing, cold/flu symptoms, upper respiratory problems, skin rashes or chicken pox, and school physicals are among the many things you can be seen for during a walk-in visit. Walk-Ins are accepted at the Inez, KY, Prestonsburg, KY, Huntington, WV, Logan, WV, and Ravenswood, WV locations.
The Ohio Valley Physicians Emergency Department (ED) Program is committed to the highest standards of care and excellence in the practice of emergency medicine with Holzer Health System. The physicians and nurse practitioners of the ED Program are present in the system’s emergency rooms 24 hours a day, 7 days per week attending to the acute and urgent needs of the emergency patient. Ohio Valley Physicians strives to deliver excellent health care with urgency, integrity and respect to all patients needing emergent or urgent care services.
The Ohio Valley Physicians Hospitalist Program is committed to the highest standards of care and excellence in the practice of inpatient medicine at Holzer Medical Center. The physicians and nurse practitioners of the Hospitalist Program are present in the hospital 24 hours a day, 7 days per week attending to the unique and evolving needs of the hospitalized patient. Through the use of evidence-based clinical guidelines, timely and thorough communication and dedication to patient safety, the Hospitalist Program strives to achieve quality care with maximum efficiency. Patient-centered care and compassion remains the priority of the Hospitalist Service.
Individuals in our program are going to receive a high level of counseling services. The therapists employed here will all have at least a 60-hour Master’s Degree along with specialized training/supervision in substance abuse counseling. The therapists will also be credentialed/licensed providers with multiple years experience in the field of mental health and/or substance abuse counseling. Therapists will also have special instruction during the course of their education in regard to counseling theory/philosophy and the ability to apply these techniques and interventions with a diverse group of clients.
