McIntyre Park District Hike and Bike Trail is perfect for biking and running. Holzer in 1910 – and the Holzer legacy has continued to evolve with the latest technology and innovations available for the community to receive the very best health care.

Gallipolis is also the hometown of Bob Evans, founder of the Bob Evans Restaurant franchise. The original restaurant was located in Rio Grande, OH, and the Bob Evans Farm, which is still a fully functioning farm, is located in Rio Grande, as well.  The Bob Evans Farm Festival is one of many festivals and fairs to be held annually, where local arts and crafts are displayed along with traditional trades of the region, music and farm life.

Located just under two hours from Columbus, OH, and two and a half hours from Cincinnati, Gallia County, with a population of 35,000, provides a great quality of life with city, county and private school options,  as well as a university and community college. Gallipolis and the Ohio Valley communities offer a low crime rate, modern medical care, diverse housing and outstanding recreational activities.
